JU-ON THE GRUDGE: REMASTERED

Welcome to the Grudge Remake Project! This is a whole, from ground up remake of the 2009 Wii game, JU-ON THE GRUDGE: HAUNTED HOUSE SIMULATOR! The remake aims to improve the game's controls and gameplay mechanics, graphics, and also adds new functionalities! So far, the game has been developed for 5 months, and is still being worked on. (Expect slow development time as there is only one developer working on this remake). Hopefully, I will try to finish this remake before the end of the year, or alternatively, by February 2026. There are 3 playable levels, one is missing some decorations, the other is incomplete, there is a functional, nearly complete pause menu, and there will be much more! PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT OWN ALL THE MODELS AND OTHER ASSETS HERE! CREATORS OF USED ASSETS IN THIS PROJECT WILL BE CREDITED. SOME CAN BE SEEN IN THE CREDITS SECTION OF THE GAME VIA THE MENU! Of course, the original game is owned by AQ Interactive.
Controls - (ONLY KEYBOARD SUPPORTED FOR NOW):
W,A,S,D/Arrow Keys - Move
F - Toggle on/off the flashlight
E - Pickup items
Left Shift - Sprint
R - Crouch
Enter - Pause/Resume
The mouse can also be used to click in menus.

Install instructions
Download the zip file and extract it. Then run the JU-ON.exe. Have fun!

For those wanting to ask, YOU CAN record gameplay!!

By the way, when launching the game, your gonna get a windows firewall error of some sort. Just close it :)
Also, if you have Avast antivirus, it will detect the game as a false idp.generic threat. Just create an exception! :)
